At the beginning of lockdown, my good friend Jess Stephens and I created something special. Jess has lived in Sefrou near Fez and the Atlas Mountains for the past 12 years, and is a cultural ambassador this special area of Morocco. She’s run artists’ residencies, retreats, artisanal tours and knows many local artisans with skills like silversmithing, weaving, carpentry and mosaic ceramics to name a few.
We decided that it would be great if we could bring some of this rich colour and creativity to people online – to get a sense of it all. So, taking my ‘Adventures in Colour’ 7-part course as a framework, Jess’s local knowledge, and adding in a lot of enthusiasm and many hours, we set out to make our Creativity Quest – “a fear-bashing, awe-inspiring, world-expanding series of artistic and cultural adventures” – and it really has been amazing.
He’s a clip from our webinar “3 Steps to Re-Kindle Your Creativity and Your Sense of Adventure” where I lead people through a simple process to improve their visual awareness, using the colour Green:
